Our Breakfast Club runs from 7:30am until the start of the school day. During this time, children can enjoy a variety of quiet activities. A simple breakfast of cereals, fruit, and toast is available and is cleared away by 8:15am to allow staff and children time to tidy up and prepare for the school day. Children are then taken directly to their classrooms for 8:30am. The club takes place in the school halls, and parents should access the club via the main school office.

At the end of the school day, children booked into the After-School Club are brought to the hall by a member of the Malcolm Sargent staff for registration. A wide range of activities awaits, including:

• Craft table activities

• Table football

• Pool table

• Basketball arcade game

• Quiet area for supervised homework

• Calm-down zone for relaxation

• Board games, card games, and jigsaws

• Drawing challenges, colouring, and paper-based activities

• Outdoor play and physical games

 

We also offer daily clubs and sports for all children to participate in.  

 

We make full use of our outdoor facilities, ensuring children enjoy regular time on the playgrounds, play equipment, and school field.

Water stations are available at all times to promote healthy hydration and good oral hygiene. Children also have access to fresh fruit throughout the session to encourage healthy snacking habits. A nutritious light tea is provided for all after-school attendees—menus are available in the attached documents.

We offer a 10% sibling discount on all contracted Wrap-Around Care sessions.

The After-School Club finishes at 6:00pm, with collection via the main school reception.

Please note that our Breakfast and After-School Club is available exclusively to children attending Malcolm Sargent Primary School.
