Our Centre is located within the grounds of Malcolm Sargent Primary School, in a purpose-built nursery that has been carefully designed with children’s needs in mind. All of our rooms have direct access to outdoor play areas, as well as the school’s large playing field. We also offer a range of exciting outdoor spaces, including a creative deck, bike track and woodland area, giving children plenty of opportunities to explore, play and learn outdoors.
We provide care for children from six weeks to five years of age. Our five rooms are all spacious, calm and welcoming, with a natural feel and lots of natural light. From Little Acorns through to Mighty Oaks, each room is age-specific and thoughtfully set up to create an engaging, nurturing environment where children can feel safe, happy and confident.
Inclusivity is very important to us. We have two fully qualified Special Educational Needs and Disability Coordinators (SENDCos) within the Centre, who are dedicated to supporting every child to reach their full potential. Our team works closely with families and is always happy to meet with parents to discuss individual needs and how best we can support their child.
In addition to our nursery provision, we also run an Out of School Club during term time and a Holiday Club during school holidays. These clubs are open to children aged 4–11 from the Stamford area, regardless of which primary school they attend, and offer a safe, fun and supportive environment.
All staff at the Centre are highly qualified and take part in regular training to ensure they continue to meet the highest standards of care for every child.
