Level 3 in Early Years & Paediatric first aid trained

Hi, I’m Dakota. I’ve been part of the Acorn team for two years and have recently qualified with my Level 3 through my apprenticeship. I’m passionate about creating fun, engaging learning experiences and love getting stuck into all things messy play.

Sensory play is a real favourite of mine — from sensory and walking toys to our sensory tent, I love supporting children with self-regulation and helping them explore their senses in a calm, nurturing way.

When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my four-year-old nephew, exploring the beach, and visiting Sea Life to see all the amazing animals — with sharks being my absolute favourite
